**Accounts Officer**

DGI Global is an established and growing company, we offer a collaborative environment and the opportunity to work for a fast paced specialised Freight Forwarding company located at Banksmeadow NSW.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a driven and experienced Accounts Officer who enjoys variety and can work across all facets of accounts. Based at our Banksmeadow NSW office this role reports to the Finance Manager and will be a key member within the finance team. This is a great opportunity to learn within a growing company and specialised industry.

**Key Duties**
- Support the accounts functions related to AP & AR, GL Reporting requirements covering Month End & EOFY Financial Statements
- Process supplier invoices, employee related expense claims and third-party payments
- Issue timely and accurate Customer Sales Invoices and EOM statements & reconciling payments
- Reconcile Customer Sales entries from internal billing system
- Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any invoice discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct credit checks for new customers
- Assist in the payment of suppliers in accordance with payment terms
- Produce Monthly AP & AR reconciliation reports and ensure these reconcile to supplier statements

- Dynamic, proactive person who enjoys versatility in a role and has strong attention to detail
- Experienced accounts/bookkeeping professional wanting to expand their knowledge across all facets of accounts
- Qualifications - Accounting, Bookkeeping
- Can-do, hands-on attitude with the ability to work autonomously as required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced user of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Demonstrated time management and problem-solving skills

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Banksmeadow, NSW 2019: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
