Join our Vendor Management team in Adelaide, Australia, as a highly organised and efficient Project Analyst/Coordinator. In this role, you will be at the forefront of coordinating projects and managing vendor relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
You will oversee and manage projects related to vendor management, ensuring they are completed on time and in line with project plans. Your role will involve liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements, communicate project updates, and resolve any issues that arise. By analysing vendor performance, you will provide valuable recommendations for process improvements.
Additionally, you will develop and maintain essential project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk assessments. Monitoring project budgets and ensuring cost-effective vendor management will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and identify and implement best practices for vendor management and project coordination.
**Qualifications** Essential**:
- Professional experience in industry roles such as project support, administration, coordination, or similar.
- Experience in vendor management or procurement with the ability to engage in robust discussions with university vendors.
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training is preferred over a formal degree.
**Desirable**:
- Proven experience in project coordination and vendor management, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel).
- Experience supporting a project manager in roles such as project support, project administration, or project coordination.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management best practices, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the university sector.
