**Brisbane**, the
**Accounts Receivable Assistant **is a key role the Group Finance Department and is primarily responsible for customer credit and receivables management. This role is required to provide timely and accurate support services to the finance department and assist management in meeting the company’s accounting needs and requirements.

With respect, integrity and honesty, you will:

- Primary role in maintenance of the receivables ledger; Ensuring payment receipts are processed accurately into the Billing system. A highly skilled and large volume and value piece.
- AD Hoc banking/receivables duties. Inc refunds
- Recognise and communicate in a timely manner with credit manager, OPS regarding changes to processes or business interruptions that may impact on their area;
- Internal and external customer queries and requests are processed in a timely manner;
- Liaise with the customer service teams to ensure seamless handling of calls/claims;
- Assisting with customer enquiries including dealing with complaints/dispute resolution process;
- Working collaboratively with other departments; and
- Acting as backup for the team in times of increased work load

- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills;
- Experience within Utilities viewed favourably but not essential;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Proven ability to multi task;
- Great communication skills;
- A high level of customer service skills; and
- The ability to work on your own and as a part of a team.
