**A bit about the role**
The associate support officer role sits within the organisations service desk function and is a fantastic opportunity to gain a deep insight into the role of information technology in the workplace.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of desktop and mobile hardware and software and provide support of a range of systems and technologies.
Having IT qualification and experience, you will have strong communication and customer service skills and enjoy using your strong problem solving and analytical skills. With a desire to learn and grow, you will have confidence in collaborating at all levels within the business and across the Technology department.
**What you will deliver**
- Provide quality end user support on a range of systems and technologies
- Assist with the maintenance of the organisation’s desktop and mobile hardware, software and associated peripherals.
- Install, test, and implement hardware and software upgrades as directed.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Service Desk documentation, policies and procedures.
- Assist with the recording and maintenance of IT asset information
- Support the department with identification and implementation of new IT solutions
- Provide recommendations to achieve continuous improvement on service desk systems and processes
**What you will bring**
- At least 1 year experience in the provision of user support in a Service Desk function
- An appropriate tertiary qualification or industry certification
- Strong customer service focus with good communication skills.
- Windows 10/11 Standard Operating Environment.
- Microsoft Exchange / Outlook
- Active Directory for Windows Server
- SCCM
- General networking concepts
- Windows Virtual Desktop
- Intune knowledge/ experience
