Government agency looking for an AO8 Program Manager to assist with capital works health projects.

**Your new company**

Our client is a government agency based in Brisbane that provides a multitude of products and services to deliver strategic project plans across a variety of projects within the health sector. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add a Program Manager to their team to assist with the planning of their programs and other capital works projects.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of required frameworks and procedures to ensure efficient and effective value for money is delivered for the department's technical program. You will complete regular project reporting in accordance to budgets and targets, as well as keep up stakeholder communications to maintain and improve program delivery. Additionally, you will ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces are adhered to on behalf of the department.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in program management, including knowledge in project management concepts, stakeholder communications, and project delivery regarding time, cost, and scope constraints. Therefore, you will ideally come from a background in client-side project or program management, with a relevant discipline in these fields. You will understand the legislation, policies, procedures, and standards involved in the development of capital works projects and be able to provide sound advice using this knowledge. Given your role includes tender and documentation, you will also need a solid understanding of Microsoft programs in order to complete regular project reporting. Experience in health capital works programs/projects would be beneficial.

**What you'll get in return**

You will be offered an immediate start in a full-time contracted/casual role with a government agency located in Brisbane CBD. You will be offered an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, paying an AO8 hourly rate + super.
