**About the School**:
Marsden State High School has been operating since 1987 and has a long and proud tradition of providing excellent quality public education. Since opening in 1987, the school has grown to over 3500 students. While the school is one of the largest in Queensland, it has a strong sense of community and is able to offer individual attention and diverse opportunities for participation.

**About the Role**:

- The position works with either the Year 9 or 10 students ensuring we have a calm and respectful learning environment across the school. The position is one of two positions available to support our students within the school. The successful applicant must be a team focussed person with skills to work proactively with the team on student support and senior school processes
- Access, track, connect and analyse student data to target improvements in academic and social outcomes;
- Access, track, connect and analyse year level data to assist curriculum Heads of Department improve academic outcomes;
- Develop and maintain productive partnerships with students to positively impact learning;
- To promote awareness of and adherence to key school policies (e.g. uniform and attendance);
- To support the Student Code of Conduct, including short suspensions in consultation with the Principal;
- Provision of leadership and organisation of appropriate co-curricular activities including student leadership programs
- Management of an agreed budget;
- Liaison with parents and key school personnel on student performance;
- Line Management responsibilities and teaching allocation will be in consultation
