Thales AMS (Airspace Mobility Solutions) is providing leading edge airspace control and security solutions for the commercial and defence sectors, as well as digital solutions for Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) and Digital Aviation.

This position is to be based at our facility in **Tullamarine** with some visibility in our **CBD office**.


**Your Role**

Working within the OneSky program, the purpose of the Operational Dataset Specialist is to define and deliver a fit for purpose data solution to the end user.

This is a specialist position suitable for someone with experience working on Air Traffic Management systems either from an operation or technical capacity.

You will be responsible for:

- Understanding all the aspects of the Dataset preparation for the System.
- Identify and evaluate the actual process in place for the dataset preparation
- Fill and provide dataset for various teams needs in accordance with project milestones
- Work with the team on improvement of the process & methods to be able to handle all dataset activities in supporting internal Thales Dataset needs
- Participate in solution identification with the customer including sharing dataset information in the generation process and supporting an incremental customer validation of the data submitted

**On day one, you will bring**:

- Experience in Dataset preparation for an Air Traffic Management System
- High level of understanding on dataset / adaptation data goals and impacts.
- Experience with scripting languages preferred ( shell, bash, python, macro, )
- Australian Citizenship to be eligible for clearance
