**About the role**

As a Ranger you will undertake activities requiring a level of environmental and service expertise and the position will be accountable for personal performance. You will have a strong practical focus particularly in relation to waterway litter management, asset management and vessel management while working as part of a dynamic, multi-functioned team. You may have direct responsibility for the supervision of casual staff, contractors and volunteers.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- A Coxswains Grade 1 or Grade 2 Near Coastal Certificate of Competency with extensive boating experience is mandatory for this position.
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management and/or equivalent experience in a similar field is preferable.
- CN crane ticket (non-slewing) >3 tonne, DG Dogging ticket and experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in self-management and supervisory skills.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
