- **ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Omi’s growing capability will see the introduction of a bespoke development, assembly, and distribution capability. As part of this exciting new venture there is a requirement for at least 2 Junior Electronics Technician’s to the new team.

The Junior Electronics Technicians will be responsible for the assembly and testing of specialised equipment that will be targeted on the critical areas of Emergency Management and Emergency Response teams. The focus will be on the production of equipment to support the National interest both domestically and overseas during natural disasters and other emergencies. They will be required to be able to understand and interpret technical drawings and procedures to enable the assembly of electronics and RF equipment, conduct general electrical component assembly for electrical and radio equipment and manufacturing and bench assembly work.

At all times, the Junior Electronics Technicians are to maintain equipment to the highest standard, comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations and procedures, and assess and report any hazards upon identification.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
The Junior Electronics Technicians will:

- Be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Baseline Australian Government Security Clearance.

It would be desirable if they had:

- A Certificate II in Electronics or equivalent
