**About the role**:
Kinetic IT are currently looking for an Penetration Tester/ICT Security Specialist with an expert understanding across cyber security and ethical hacking including developing and maintaining database management systems, operating systems, and security policies.

**If you were here yesterday, here are some things you would have been involved in**:

- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining security documentation, guidelines, and policies.
- Conducting tests on systems to identify issues such as risks and bugs are resolved according to approved procedures and processes.
- Implementing and maintaining processes and procedures including providing communications that are intended to increase security and privacy awareness with the organisation.
- Analysing current networks and making recommendations for future enhancements whilst ensuring these meet the needs of the client.

**Keen to get involved? You’ll just need some of the following**:

- Ability to clearly articulate findings, provide recommendations, and present results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to create comprehensive, accurate, and actionable reports detailing the results of penetration tests.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of various software including Burp Suite, Metasploit and Kali Linux.
- Hold Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as OWASP Top 10, NIST SP 800-53, and PCI DSS.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in penetration testing and a track record of successfully completing complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience in working with Government agencies.
