**Your role**:
The Cyber Security Team (protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

**Do Work that Matters**:
This role is situated in an extremely fast-growing area, offering interesting opportunities to develop into further technical roles within the cyber-security space, as well into more business-focused risk and governance roles.

This role reports directly to a Penetration Testing Manager within the Penetration Testing team.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Carry out scoping activities to identify high value targets and to define targeted attack scenarios
- Report testing results to our customers, including project managers, service owners, developers and risk managers
- Maintain awareness of advancements in hardware and software technologies (e.g., attend training or conferences, reading) and their potential implications
- Have the flexibility to work on multiple projects as needed
- Work within a team environment and across business units to complete associated tasks with exceptional results
- Provide coaching and mentoring to uplift team capability
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely. (NOTE: All tasks assigned and carried out must be performed in accordance with all relevant internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements).

**What you will need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in Penetration testing
- An attacker’s mindset with an understanding of vulnerability identification or penetration testing processes and methodologies
- An understanding of software security principles, including both technical security and secure software design
- Knowledge in developing, testing or securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP
- Knowledge/understanding of code reviews is an advantage
- Certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, CREST is desirable
