Toowoomba team is seeking an experience Service technician with lift and esculator experience to join their dynamic team.
The primary responsibility of this position is to complete electrical and mechanical callback maintenance and repair work for customer's elevator and escalator equipment. This will be completed within a geographical area and to specified standards. The role will respond quickly to calls on a large variety of equipment and will work closely with customers to resolve issues quickly and inform them of issues/risks/faults.
**QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS**
1. Electrical and/or Fitter qualifications as relevant to the role
2. Lift apprenticeship or other industry accredited training program (desirable)
**The skills, knowledge and experience for this position are**:
Minimum two (2) years' experience in the Lift Industry (highly desirable)
Minimum five (5) years' experience in the lift industry (essential)
Health and Safety training in the lift industry
Extensive Electrical and Mechanical knowledge across a large range of equipment
Demonstrated fault finding and resolution skills
Strong English language skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of policies in advantageous.
Highly organised and structured, able to deal with multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Attention to detail and results driven.
