We are looking for someone who has **full time availability, **has a can-do attitude, is a team player and be able to build rapport within the Firm as we pride ourselves on our culture.

The BAU Paralegal is an all-rounder who assists the Conflicts & Compliance team which sits within Clyde & Co's global Business Acceptance Unit with on the ground workload and administrative help.

**Key Responsibilites & Experience**:

- Assisting and supporting the Business Acceptance Unit with Client Due Diligence in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations (AML)
- Researching corporate structures and identifying beneficial ownership through the use of databases and other appropriate sources for KYC and Conflicts checks purposes.
- Assisting the BAU team with any additional work streams involving AML and/or Conflicts of Interest requests as well as other relevant Risk policies
- Assisting the BAU team in taking telephone queries.
- Managing and creating, removing and amending information barriers.
- Manual entry of new and any additional case information on multiple systems.
- Dealing with queries raised on case and client details.
- Taking proactive steps to update and maintain all case and client information as necessary.
- Assisting the Analysts when required.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.

**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Strong IT skills, previous use of an electronic disclosure platform would be preferable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to work as part of a successful team as well as the ability to take intiative and work autonomously
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Previous experience on large scale doc review (preferred but not essential)
