Our client is mid-sized town planning consultancy on a major growth spurt. Get in now early during the exciting phase and help grow this company further. Our client is seeking highly motivated, experienced, and personable Principal level Town Planner to join their team due to expansion.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, from small to large scale, varying sectors from residential to commercial and government across various locations. **DUTIES**
- Due diligence and pre-acquisition advice to clients
- Provide expert witness services
- Master planning, industrial and commercial planning advice
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to provide advice and the ability to push and negotiate on behalf of their clients.
- Strategic and statutory advice to public sector
- Manage a solid team

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Bachelor's degree in Town Planning
- Ideally 15 years plus industry experience in Queensland
- Managing a team
- Knowledge and proficiency in Queensland planning legislation, policies, and guidelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate with developers, local councils, and statutory authorities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
