Due to continued growth and we are looking for a generalist Human Resources Assistant to join our national team. Based at our East Melbourne office with hybrid WFH options available, you'll be welcomed by a refreshingly functional team and invested stakeholders.

Our objective is to provide an exceptional people experience across the full employee life cycle. From recruitment to retirement and everything in between, the People and Wellbeing team are incredibly proud of the business they help shape through their consistency, curiosity, and care.

This is a generalist HR position designed to assist with the efficient and effective delivery of the People and Wellbeing function in our business. Whether you've had a couple of years in a similar role or are newly graduated, you will actively engage in broad and cross-functional activities within the Human Resources space.

Responsibilities include
- Assisting with any range of recruitment activities including screening, scheduling, onboarding
- Drafting and issuing employment documents
- Coordination of probation programs for all new employees
- Updating and maintaining the HR position description library across all business units
- Follow up with new and existing employees regarding outstanding documentation relevant to their employment
- Designing induction plans for new employees, liaising with hiring managers and L&D team members to do so
- Maintaining user records and details including staff uniform register, birthdays, anniversaries, contact/payroll information etc
- Providing exceptional service to all employees and stakeholders, with a solution focus and a high degree of professionalism
