**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Join our market-leading team as Legal Operations Manager supporting our Finance, Real Estate and Projects practice groups in determining, leading, and managing its key operational strategic priorities on a 12 month max term contract.

You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills and a comprehensive understanding of the legal process/law firm environment.

How will you add value?
- You’ll be an integral part of the team developing a sustainable model of operational best practice, including embedding use of self-serve tools and technologies.
- Build relationships and act as an interface with different legal teams and functions to evaluate needs, diagnose challenges and identify expertise required to develop solutions.
- Work with the legal teams to build capability in Legal Operations and support them to deliver services to clients as efficiently and effectively as possible.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts to effectively communicate information
- Experience within a professional services firm, ideally a global law firm, or Big 4
- Understanding of legal process and typical work product in a law firm environment (preferably including managing large transactions)
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building skills including with senior stakeholders and/or clients.
- Ideally formal project management qualifications (e.g. Agile, Lean Six Sigma, PRINCE2 or equivalent)
- Demonstrated financial acumen
- Excellent systems skill set across Microsoft Office 365/ability to rapidly pick up new systems
- Excellent training, presentation and mentoring skills.

**The team**:
In response to the needs of clients, we have combined specialist skills that provide a range of critical business support services for our clients and their in-house lawyers, notably legal project management, pricing, strategic insights, and technology adoption. This single integrated team, called Legal Operations, is a ‘single place’ where our clients and partners can go to access these services. As well as aligning to the needs of our clients, we aim to provide clients with greater certainty on commercial outcomes in matters (price, budget) and greater efficiency in delivery (time, cost and scope). Additionally, we bring innovation, automation and process improvement in our service to clients, both to drive efficiency and build opportunities to transform the client's business and operating environment. Our goal is to make Legal Operations easy to access for our clients and partners, give them a consistently positive experience, and provide exceptional service that meets and anticipates their needs.
