**About the role at Grant Thornton Australia**

Joining our Specialist Tax (Transfer Pricing) team as a graduate could see you:

- working closely with clients to understand their business holistically - their operations and their objectives
- attending client site visits and walk throughs
- conducting due diligence reviews in support of M&C transactions
- liaising with the ATO and other jurisdictional agencies
- conducting in-depth industry research
- keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory changes
- having a high degree of direct client contact from day one

**Seniority**

**Entry Level** - A role for someone with underlying potential, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically no direct experience is required.

**Responsibilities**
- Tax Research - Research, analyze and advise clients on tax laws, regulations, and tax issues
- Tax Document Preparation - Prepare tax returns, forms, and other documents for clients
- Tax Skills Development - Continuously develop and improve technical skills and knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations

**Strengths**
- Attention to detail - Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exists in information and deliverables
- Learning agility - Identifies and applies strategies to enhance reception, retention and use of newly acquired information, skills, and abilities
- Numerical problem solving - Works with numerical information and performs mathematical calculations to solve problems
