**About the role**:
As part of a newly formed branch within the organisation, this position leads the Engagement and Insights activities for the business. Reporting to the Executive Manager of Strategic Engagement, you will the lead a team focused across Infrastructure Engagement, Stakeholder Engagement and Research and Insights. The purpose of these functions will be to allow Unitywater to maintain relationships and foster trust, enabling better delivery for our customers while also ensuring we are valuing every drop. Other key functions of the role will include:

- Implementation of proactive approaches to influence stakeholder segments on key operational and strategic priorities.
- Providing strategic advice on the management and response to emerging and active issues to enhance our reputation.
- Leading the design and delivery of monitoring and evaluation processes and tools, to deliver insights on the success and effectiveness of our stakeholder engagement
- Delivery of an effective enterprise level market research framework to ensure robust and timely insights on stakeholder perceptions, experiences and priorities
- Ensuring the ongoing integration of data and insights across the business as an input to strategic decision making

**About you**:

- Significant experience leading proactive stakeholder engagement activities across multiple segments, in a large commercial organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and provide strategic advice to senior executives and leaders, internal and external stakeholders and negotiating outcomes that deliver mutual benefit.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of skilled professionals to deliver on organisational strategy.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Stakeholder Engagement, Public Policy, Social Research or a related discipline as well as exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills.
- C Class Driver’s License and a current Queensland Working with Children Check Blue Card
