Your Opportunity
As the Manager, International Engagement and Communications, you will:

- Provide strategic leadership and management to the International Business Development team to identify, develop and implement offshore commercial partnerships and business development projects to achieve revenue goals and enhance TAFE Queensland's position as a premier provider of education in the international market both onshore and offshore
- Use data-led insights in the development of strategic marketing plans, using informed approaches to plan activities which link to the TQIE core and operational plans to and maximise revenue growth and strengthen TQ's reputation globally
- Oversee the provision of high-quality, professional support services through the effective management of the International Student Engagement team, ensuring streamlined and timely services that support international students from their first engagement with the TAFE Queensland brand, through to commencement and graduation, securing TAFE Queensland's position as a premier provider of vocational education and training to the international market.

This position reports to the Director, International Engagement.
This is a Permanent Full time opportunity primarily based out of Southbank campus, however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.
- Provide strategic and operational management to a large and complex team of professionals across a number of locations, allowing for continual professional development and consideration for succession planning. Identify and delegate appropriately individual responsibility, set individual and team performance targets and track performance against targets to ensure organisational and team priorities are met.
- Lead strategies to improve international student outcomes, engagement, mobilisation and experience across all regions and at all stages of the student lifecycle. Develop, implement and review new policies, procedures and work instructions as they relate to student engagement and business development, continuously seeking new and streamlined work practices to increase operational efficiency.
- Manage and allocate resources for international student support and engagement teams to ensure high-quality provision of service in relation to the international student experience, from commencement through to graduation and beyond, supporting issues as they arise which may impact a student's study experience with TAFE Queensland and supporting student orientation and welfare events to enhance the international student experience.
- Provide leadership and direction to the International Business Development team, to identify, develop and implement offshore and onshore commercial training partnerships which enhance TAFE Queensland's reputation as the premier provider of vocational education and training in international markets and lead to the achievement of revenue targets.
- Identify, establish and maintain partnerships with a wide range of external stakeholders from diverse cultures to represent TAFE in the development of secure and commercially viable offshore transnational education services and projects that align with TAFE Queensland's values, strategic objectives and revenue goals.
- Develop marketing strategies and implementation plans for TAFE Queensland International Education, adhering to budgets and reporting requirements, and using data-led approaches to inform plans that maximise revenue generation both on and offshore and to strengthen the TAFE Queensland brand and reputation internationally.
- Actively participate in relevant international groups, associations and functions both offshore and onshore, utilising these events and networking as opportunities to maintain an in-depth knowledge of relevant global markets and industry trends and developments.
