**About your potential new position**:
Our Glencore Coal Australia First Nations Pathways Program enables participants to develop their job-readiness skills, gain experience and expand their knowledge with new challenges towards opportunities in the mining industry.

**To deliver on that purpose, some of your accountabilities will include**:
- Building mentor/mentee relationships through ongoing coaching, support and effective case management of participants while role modelling safe work behaviours, positive communication in the workplace and Glencore Values.-
- Guiding participants in their learning of our safety management systems and safe work practices; and ensuring they adhere to fit for work requirements of the mining industry.-
- Confidently facilitate training workshops for small groups, provide supervision and be the main point of contact for the participants.-
- Build strong relationships with program partners, First Nations organisations and stakeholder groups to support culturally respectful delivery of the program.-
- Maintain and manage the program’s information systems with accurate information, including scheduling and any other participant related data.-
- Build strong relationships with host site operations where participants attend work experience, ensuring visibility and support.**What we expect from you**:
- Relevant experience and/or formal qualifications in community development project management.-
- Connection to the communities and people where we operate, with a demonstrated ability to communicate, engage effectively and work together with First Nations peoples while respecting traditional culture, values, and ways of doing business.-
- Understanding of the issues affecting First Nations peoples including barriers to employment and the demonstrated ability to effectively address these barriers.-
- Knowledge and experience in the mining and resources industry, including career pathway opportunities, training and development of employees.-
- Initiative and willingness to take on new challenges and find solutions to improve program delivery and outcomes.**What’s in it for you?**
