Hindmarsh Bowden Health Group (HBHG) has 2 positions available to join our busy team:
a permanent full-time receptionist 9 days a fortnight, and a casual receptionist approximately 4 days a week (in addition to covering annual leave and sick leave).

Our company has 2 clinics, Hindmarsh Bowden Health (7 days a week, including after hours) and Fitzroy Medical Clinic (5 days a week).

The successful applicants must have proven interpersonal skills, organizational skills, excellent customer service skills, a high level of computer skills and the ability to work under pressure in a challenging and changing environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- First point of contact for the business providing timely, professional, friendly and empathetic customer service both in person and over the telephone
- Ensure patients' needs, in terms of immediate and on-going care, are met before and after consultation
- Accurately process patient payments via cash, eftpos and direct bill transactions
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, practice nurses, management and other support staff at all times

**Essential Criteria**:

- Demonstrate organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate comfortably and effectively with the diverse community serviced by our clinics
- Exceptional telephone manner
- Ability to accurate record and transfer messages
- High level of computer skills and experience with Best Practice Software is desirable
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Evidence of your COVID-19 vaccination ( 2 doses )
- Current Police Clearance.

Medical reception experience in a General Practice setting essential.

Uniform provided.

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
