**About the Role**:
We are seeking two communicative individuals with great advisory skills to join our team as a School and Preschool Financial Support Consultant. In this role, you will contribute to the achievement of efficient work practices within the School and Preschool Financial Services team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate and control the effective delivery of a range of Financial Services functions, and deliver support, consultation, advice, and training to school and preschool staff.
- Provide expert advice, creating reports and resources, leading various workgroups and forums, and fostering financial management capabilities for schools, preschools, and key stakeholders.
- Assess factors influencing financial management and directorate activities, engage with stakeholders for operational requirements, review processes, collect feedback, and optimize functions to reduce duplication.
- Develop and maintain collaborative communication networks across the Department and Government, supporting effective and appropriate finance service delivery outcomes and improvement of programs, projects, and processes.
- Support the ongoing performance and cost efficiency of projects and activities, and identify, manage, and evaluate allocated resources.

**Qualifications**:
Desirable A tertiary qualification in accountancy, finance, economics, business management or a related field or equivalent experience.**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO5 $84,522 - $94,003 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
