Our client is one of the largest not-for-profit organisations providing advice to the government about the vocational education and training requirements in WA. Their purpose is to partner with both industry and government to provide strategic advice on workforce development and skilling needs.
Their portfolio includes a vast array of industries from property, professional, financial and public sectors. They are now seeking to employ an experienced Industry Engagement Consultant who has a passion for research and advocating for each sectors' requirements.
The Role:
To lead the collation of the WA Jobs, Education, and Training (WAJET) survey by developing strong and meaningful relationships with industry stakeholders. This survey is used to inform training priorities and skill shortages by highlighting the sectors most impacted by our current labour shortages.
To be successful you will be proficient in the below:
- Identify and develop partnership opportunities with key industry stakeholders.
- Research, with a proficiency in interpreting and succinctly representing data.
- Solid writing ability, including proofreading and editing, to provide clear and concise reports that meet Government standards.
- Ability to work autonomously, while still being a team player.
- Excellent organisational, and time management skills.
- University degree in Commerce, Marketing, Communications, PR or a relatable field will be advantageous.
- Experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector highly regarded.
To be successful you will be comfortable working in a high output environment. You will be a fast learner, able to think on your feet and able to build rapport with stakeholders.
