**The Role**
The APS 5 Inventory Officer is responsible as the team leader for Joint Logistics Unit (South) Inventory Management section. Their duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing supervision of a joint team of Australian Public Service (APS) and Australian Defence Force (ADF) Inventory Officers.
- Lead and direct team tasks involving disposals, discrepancies, remediation and inventory procurement processes.
- Maintain oversight of warehousing and distribution functions to ensure timely responses to requests and inventory support.
- Investigate, action and assist with inventory compliance and performance monitoring.
- Manage inventory related administration needs, assisting stakeholders and dependents with regional support.
