Are you passionate about shaping the future of Australia’s national resilience and security? The Curtin National Resilience & Security (NRAS) Program Office is on the lookout for a dynamic and visionary Marketing & PR Manager to spearhead our internal and external marketing endeavours, coordinate pivotal events, and steer our communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.

**Your new role**

As the backbone of Curtin NRAS's marketing and stakeholder engagement campaigns, you will execute innovative strategies that amplify our mission. Reporting directly to the Director of NRAS, your role is pivotal in aligning our marketing efforts with the strategic directions of our Faculties, Schools, and the wider University, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presence both internally and externally.

**You Will**:

- Strategise and implement comprehensive marketing, event, and stakeholder engagement campaigns that reflect NRAS's core values and objectives.
- Serve as the vital link between NRAS and a spectrum of stakeholders, including academic faculties, research communities, and external entities like government and industry leaders.
- Craft and manage an annual blueprint for marketing, events, and stakeholder engagement, complete with budget and resource allocations.
- Elevate NRAS's public profile through strategic communications, engaging media relations, and compelling social media narratives.
- Orchestrate NRAS's signature events, ensuring they spotlight our ground breaking initiatives and foster meaningful dialogues with key stakeholders.

**Who You Are**:

- A strategic thinker with graduate qualifications and substantial experience in marketing, events, and PR within complex settings, ideally within a university, research centre, or defence industry environment.
- A creative marketer with a proven track record of designing and executing innovative marketing strategies and initiatives.
- An exceptional communicator, adept at forging strong relationships and influencing a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- An analytical problem-solver with the ability to translate complex ideas into accessible communication products.
- An autonomous leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality or vision.

**Essential Requirements**:

- This role would normally be restricted to, and require you to maintain, Australian Citizenship. Consideration may be given to citizens of New Zealand, United States, Canada, or United Kingdom who have, or recently maintained a security clearance, if the clearance can be recognised by AGSVA.
