The successful applicants will have impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be risk aware and safety driven. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with the requirement of some weekend work also entailing overtime.

The Role
- The key part of your role will be ensuring full compliance with Australian Standards and NATA requirements for sampling and testing of concrete and entering true and accurate test results on an array of different construction sites from city to countryside.
- Working safely, accurately and independently. In this role you will be required to work on your own, communicating with an allocator, reporting to the Laboratory supervisor, working adaptively as the days testing can change.
- Assisting Lab technicians in carrying out compression and other strength tests on cured concrete specimens in our Molendinar Laboratory. We have a large number of clients that we test concrete for independently, we undertake a number of compression tests on concrete in our laboratory and we encourage all staff to understand and assist in the daily crushing and data capture of our specimens.
- As we have a close relationship with our customers, communication is a key part of your role. Getting to know who we work for and creating a line of communication and trust is why our clients stay with us.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the concrete industry and in particular concrete testing would be ideal but is not a requirement (If you have not tested concrete, you will be trained, supervised, and deemed competent before working independently.
- Physically fit (Able to carry a 7-kilo bucket of concrete in each hand from a concrete truck or pump to your testing vehicle, perform a test, clean up and move on to the next job)
- Queensland driver's license (manual)
- Construction white card.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
