**The opportunity**
The Project Officer performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.
The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the successful management and delivery of Transport Access Program (TAP) works at Sydney and Regional train stations. TAP works generally consists of installation of lifts to facilitate easy access to the train platforms, modifications to the Station buildings to allow for Family Accessible and Ambulant Toilets, Power Supply Upgrades, footpath improvements, and accessible parking/drop-off works.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation and implementing and monitoring project plans, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning

**About you**
- Experience in preparing reports and information to support project teams over the full project life cycle which align with governance protocols and deliver clients requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of standard Microsoft Office suite such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc or equivalent. Experience with risk management tools, DeskSite or Teambinder would be highly.
- Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, construction, project management or similar and/or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience in a similar role.
**Salary and benefits**
The salary for this position is Grade 7 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.

There is a hybrid style of work to this role and the current expectation would be Tuesdays in Macquarie Park office, approximately 2 days a week on site and approximately 2 days a week working from home. Note that some weekend work may be required during rail station possession weekends.
