**Description**:
The Manager will promote the values of CORE to provide support to disadvantaged clients in the South Western Sydney region, whilst promoting capacity building, client centred and trauma informed practice and increase the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people and their families. This includes ensuring culturally appropriate services are provided to clients in an understanding and sensitive nature, whilst respecting and upholding the rights of clients.

The Manager of Targeted Earlier Intervention (TEI), Drug and Alcohol Program (AOD) and Youth Frontiers (Mentoring Program) is responsible for supporting the management of the contracts associated with each program. This includes the development, implementation and evaluation of program plans in order to meet all program goals and objectives and satisfy contract requirements. This position will oversee all aspects of compliance within these contracts, ensuring KPI’s are met, data is accurately collected and reported to specific funding bodies within designated timeframes.

This position will work closely with the Youth Services Manager and other Program Managers to ensure that the target areas identified meet the requirement of the community and individuals.

Develop and maintain systems to ensure ongoing monitoring of contractual compliance, including monitoring performance and addressing non-performance to achieve the required contract outcomes. This includes encouraging and building capacity of staff to meet compliance requirements.
Work collaboratively with key staff to meet KPI’s whilst delivering quality services to our clients and the community.
Proactively identify and manager contract risks to meet organisations obligations and achieve the planned outcomes of each program area.
Ensure business development with stakeholders in the Southwest region, with the objection of coordinating joint programs and activities to assist young people whilst meeting the target areas of each contact.
Ensure data collection must include minimum client data information and must be uploaded and provided to funding bodies within timeframes.
Assist in the implementation and evaluation of relevant policy and procedures relating to the Youth Services.
Nurture a positive team culture and facilitate ways to strengthen communication, teamwork, learning and continuity of care
Facilitate regular team meetings, supervision and performance feedback to each staff member using strengths-based reflective practice Coach staff to deal with complex issues, building resilience and autonomy within each staff member
Actively support the accreditation and external review process with agencies.
Provide leadership, direction and mentorship to the TEI, AOD and Youth Frontiers Teams including the preparation of individual work plans for the team.
Compile a comprehensive training needs analysis of all staff in the programs and ensure staff are adequately skilled to perform all duties within their position description and requirements of their roles.
Participate in working groups, recommissioning, ASES standards and recontracting of services
Ensure complex issues relating to highly sensitive Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting matters are in line with the NSW Ombudsman.

Prepare financial reports on activity, expenditure, funding and KPI results monthly. Ensure that this data is provided to Youth Services Manager by the due date.

Working closely with Senior Management throughout CORE to ensure a collaborative approach towards the success of the programs.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or Community Services or similar, and demonstrated experience in contract management in a not for profit organisation, including ability to meet targets, milestones and outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring the provision of service delivery, ensuring compliance with funding targets, budgets and legislation, and advising the Youth Services Manager of any variance, risk and change management requirements. Ensure best practice is adhered to.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to form strategic relationships with key stakeholders including funding bodies, industry bodies, internal stakeholders, and services alike.
- Demonstrated awareness of child protection issues, with the capacity to identify levels of risk requiring statutory child protectio
