Are you a passionate and experienced communications, marketing, or media professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? **About You**
- Journalist / Communications experience: Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft engaging content.
- Social media experience: Proficiency in leveraging social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and engage with audiences effectively.
- Website skill set/photography and videography: Experience in website management, along with photography and videography skills to create compelling visual content.
- Graphic Designers: Proven experience in design, branding and marketing campaigns with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Project advisor/Marketing experience: Demonstrated expertise in project management and marketing strategies, with a focus on driving results and achieving organisational goals.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of exciting projects, including:

- Place brand and major marketing reposition: Play a key role in developing and implementing our place brand strategy to drive visibility and attract investment and visitors to the Latrobe City region.
- Latrobe City Council services marketing: Take charge of promoting our programs and venues, ensuring increased visitation and other opportunities.
- Corporate style and branding redevelopment: Support the revamp of our corporate style and branding guide.
- Website updates: Manage and enhance our organisation's website, ensuring it remains engaging, informative, and user-friendly.
- Communication engagement practices: Contribute to the development of online tools and practices to improve community engagement and communication.
- Council plan engagement: Assist in planning and executing engagement strategies for council plan updates, ensuring effective communication with the community.
- Media requests and speeches: Handle multiple media requests, providing dynamic and unique content, and prepare speeches for our Mayor and Councillors.
- Social media strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of our social media strategy to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience effectively.
