**The role**

In this role you will be seconded to the APLNG management office and tasked with improving data management, developing tools, and enhancing processes to build on APLNG finance and performance analysis reporting. Your key focus will be on building financial year reporting insights, as well as short to medium term cash forecasting.

The role in more detail:

- Standardise, maintain and improve data integration processes within APLNG finance to streamline the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from multiple sources / formats, enabling improved analytics
- Develop tools and dashboards that will drive better insights in the finance and performance analysis function (encompassing actuals, forecasts, and budgets)
- Enhance business processes to embed into the organisation with mínimal intervention from users
- Improve scenario analysis and short to medium term cashflow forecasting

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will come with data management and integration experience that can be translated into the development of ETL processes, as well as experience developing data visualisations and dashboards through the use of business intelligence software.

MORE ABOUT YOU:

- Excellent Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong capabilities with business intelligence software, such as Power BI / Spotfire
- IT experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, R etc.), relational databases (e.g. SQL) and data analysis languages (e.g. DAX)
- Experience with data modelling (e.g. Power Query, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
- Process development / mapping
- CPA/ CA/ Management Accountant with 5+ years’ experience an advantage
