**About the role**
The role of Cadastral Surveyor is a unique position where you will be working in a predominantly office based environment. Depending on your knowledge level, you will be using your cadastral knowledge to provide advice to the management team on a range of policies and procedural advices, and ensuring the Titles registry is accurately represented. You will be reporting to the Senior Cadastral Surveyor/Manager whom will provide training and support to ensure you flourish in your career.

**Key Responsibilities for the role**
- Investigate and report to management on specific titling dealings, advice or procedural issues.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including government, industry and other key parties to provide feedback on titling related policy and practice initiatives and reforms.
- Support and participate in reform projects to improve Queensland titling processes.

**Skills & experience**
- An undergraduate degree in surveying or spatial sciences
- Registration as a surveyor with the Surveyors Board of Queensland with a cadastral endorsement. OR Progress towards registration
- An understanding of Titling practices and processes in Queensland. (Desirable)
- Understanding of the cadastre and its key role in titling, and an ability to research and interpret historical and new survey plans and information
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service, written technical advice and with an ability to work well as a member of a team.
- Solid communication skills and team player.
