**The Role**:
This is a full-time permanent role for a self-enthusiast Acquisitions Officer to join our Brisbane Head Office. Reporting into our General Manager of Acquisitions & Development, the Acquisitions Officer will provide administration services and support to the Acquisitions Team who manage the acquisition existing storage centres and new development site opportunities.
This role will also work with the wider Acquisitions, Developments & Construction Teams in the integration of new ‘going concern’ acquisitions and completed development projects into the National Storage operational portfolio.
The Acquisitions Officer will assist facilitate business processes, technology, and systems improvements, and develop project delivery and integration improvement initiatives which support the efficient and effective operations of National Storage.
The Acquisitions Officer will have strong administration and project management skills, excellent time management and decision-making ability, and will be comfortable working cross-functionally within the business.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- General administrative duties and assistance as directed by the General Manager - Acquisitions & Development.
- Support the strategic integration planning, due diligence and execution phases of acquisitions and developments that align to NS business objectives.
- Help coordinate integration projects across internal cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
- Support business growth by guiding systems and technology integrations projects, including working in conjunction with the relevant department head and coordinating or executing integration plans to completion. Accountability also includes evaluating the success, on-time delivery, expense management and stakeholder satisfaction of completed projects.
- Support the development of any internal training required to ensure smooth integration of new businesses, systems, policies, procedures and technologies.
- Establish, develop and maintain effective partnerships with clients, stakeholders and suppliers to support the business.
