**Your Role**

As a Customer Service & Sales Consultant, you will be part of a motivated and passionate team working in our Retail Store. Your focus will be on understanding customer needs within our industry, and fulfilling those requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will be a team player who cares intensely about delivering exceptional customer service. You will be curious and willing to learn the core elements of the lighting industry and have a result-orientated mindset and motivation to share in our company's success. Previous experience working in a customer service and sales driven retail environment is essential.

**About You**

JD Lighting prides itself in being a flat organisation. This means you will be given plenty of opportunities to learn a whole range of new skills. An individual with strong initiative and a proactive personality will thrive in such work environment.

**Key skills and core competencies** **required but not limited to**:

- Excellent computer literacy
- Excellent grammar, written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Develop strong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
- Achieve and exceed personal sales targets
- Ability to learn and acquire new skills quickly and efficiently
- Experience in the lighting industry is a bonus

You will also possess the following attributes:

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Great problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
- Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, along with working in a team environment

**Start Date**
Available for immediate start

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Work Location: In person
