This position is part of the Aged and Community Support Team and it ensures that all older residents of the City of Monash have opportunities to be socially connected and engaged with their community in a way that is beneficial and meaningful to them.

**About the Position**:
The Coordinator Social Inclusion is responsible for coordinating social inclusion group services provided under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Council-funded programs including Community Transport and the Positive Ageing Lifestyles program. As an important member of the Aged and Community Support leadership team, this position will open opportunities for collaboration across Council departments, build sound relationships with the community and key stakeholders and will actively participate in supporting the Community Services Division.

**Skills and Experience**:
Tertiary qualifications in health, social services or related field and some relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience;
Demonstrated experience and ability in leading and managing a team within a complex environment with an ability to support their growth and manage staff through change;
Sound experience in managing programs that support older people in being engaged and connected;
Demonstrated experience in managing OH&S and quality systems;
Demonstrated highly developed communication skills, both written and oral, with a range of audiences and the ability to liaise and network at several levels; and

Highly developed stakeholder management expertise.

**Requirements of the position**:
A current Victorian Driver's Licence or equivalent licence;
Satisfactory National Police Check;
Other pre-employent checks may be required depending on the role requirements; and
