CSIRO’s Office of the Chief Scientist is seeking a Program Manager (Future Science and Technology) to play a key role developing, implementing and monitoring the Future Science and Technology Plan (FS&T).
You will work closely with the Chief and Deputy Chief Scientists and a range of senior internal and external stakeholder groups to inform the FS&T Plan and lead the development of strategies for its implementation and adoption.

Success in the role will see you performing as an engaging and professional communicator with strong project management, administration, and project delivery leadership, as well as exceptional organisation skills, self-motivation and attention to detail.
**Your duties will include**:
- Program management, including tasks such as collaborating with the FS&T refresh team contributing to the development of the FS&T revive.
- Coordinating, guiding and training champions to support and influence the uptake of the revised Plan across the organisation.
- Providing regular progress reports for Executive Team, Science Council, CSIRO Leadership Team meetings and providing updates for key milestones, with mitigating actions for risks/delays.
- Stakeholder management, ensuring the establishment and continuation of effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internal (such as Business Units, Strategy and Futures Team) to support the development, implementation and adoption of the revised Plan.
- Developing strategies through consultation and organisation-wide staff engagement, to encourage and increase staff adoption of the revised Plan.
- Working with the Communication team as well as the broader Corporate Affairs team to co-ordinate and deliver a creative and engaging communication campaign.
**Location**:CSIRO sites based in Melbourne and Sydney preferred. Other locations may be considered.
**Salary**:AU $121,455 - $142,321 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
**Tenure**:Specified term until 3 March 2025

**To be considered you will need**:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant relevant experience.
- Extensive/Strong experience in leading complex, cross-organisational programs and managing change.
- Strong project management skills and experience in developing or using established project management frameworks, systems and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and manage a diversity of stakeholders, including at senior/executive levels, and build relationships, influence and negotiate to achieve common outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communicator, experienced in developing reports and briefs for senior leaders, presenting to varied audiences and facilitating discussions and decisions with stakeholders.
- Ability to readily adapt to changing circumstances and to operate well with situations that lack clarity in order to achieve team objectives.
