Are you a HR Business Partner in Brisbane that wants to truly add value and make a difference??
We are working exclusively with an organisation in Brisbane who are looking for an experienced Business Partner to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a HR Team who are on a journey to really make an impact through their people. This organisation has a headcount of 410 employees with a split across a blue & white collar workforce.
Our client is currently going through significant change with the implementation of a new HRIS & Payroll system, a new HR Structure, streamlining of policies and processes, upskilling managers, rem review, leadership development, org design and much more.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Support and assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role is fundamental in ensuring effective people management and wellbeing frameworks, policies and procedures.
The role is also required to provide business partnership advice and guidance to all levels within the organisation, protect and enhance the organisation’s values whilst maintaining and promoting the organisation’s human resource functions and employee relations.
**DUTIES**
**HR Strategy and Planning**:
- Support the development, management, and execution of the HR strategy directed by the Head of HR.
- Develop and implement HR plans, policies, and procedures, including the review and maintenance of the employee handbook.
**Workforce Management**:
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
- Manage workplace health & safety in assigned departments.
- Support the annual performance appraisal process.
**Employee Engagement and Retention**:
- Actively promote employee retention initiatives through Reward & Recognition, and Health & Wellbeing programs.
**Organisational Health and Governance**:
- Provide workplace and culture diagnostics through Employee Net Promoter Score surveys, Pulse Surveys, and Communications.
- Manage and update position descriptions for the assigned departments.
- Maintain governance through record-keeping.
**Recruitment and Career Development**:
- Manage the recruitment process for all roles in the assigned departments.
- Monitor career-path and succession planning for all staff in the assigned departments.
- Support the HR and Operations Administrator with onboarding, induction, and staff exits.
**Legal Compliance and Change Management**:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Work closely with Function and unit leaders to provide expert guidance on HR matters.
- Support the introduction of change management strategies.
**Staff Development and Team Cohesion**:
- Support learning and development initiatives.
- Play an integral role in reducing staff attrition.
- Work closely with the HR team and Department leaders to ensure a cohesive team and culture.
**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Proven demonstrated experience in supporting the business in the areas of HR strategy, performance management, learning and development, maintaining employee files, exceptional people skills, resolving conflict, working knowledge of employment law, project management, policy and procedure development, governance and workforce planning (position descriptions, recruitment and on boarding/off boarding)
