Established in 1871, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is located in Sydney’s The Domain adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and near the Central Business District, the Gallery acknowledges the original custodians of this land - the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
The Gallery attracts around 1.4 million visitors annually and runs Australia’s largest education program with over 90,000 student and teacher visits per year.
With our expanded campus recent opening the Gallery has a new state-of-the-art building located next to our existing and much-loved building. Providing us with close to double the exhibition space, the expanded Gallery enables us to share more art with more people and provide more family, learning and educational programming for all our audiences.

**About the role**
Co-create, coordinate and oversee the delivery of creative content across multiple platforms and manage the content team to ensure that its output is consistently excellent and aligns to the Art Gallery’s objectives, brand identity and values. Additionally, manage strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and manage content in line with the Art Gallery’s Content Strategy and overall Strategic Plan.
**What technical / soft skills you require**
1. Strong experience in content creation and delivery across multiple platforms which could include video, audio, web and social media.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to implement and communicate content strategies and objectives to internal and external stakeholders.
3. Demonstrated experience in exercising appropriate editorial judgement
4. Demonstrated experience leading website production projects, knowledge of web development principles.
5. Experience in managing a team which delivers content to entertain and inform a general public audience, drive engagement, and build community.
6. Effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate.
7. Demonstrated ability for strategic thinking and planning.
