About the role
The Executive Assistant will be an experienced operational and strategic leader. The Executive Assistant will have sound management and leadership experience, relationship management, communication and influencing, and contract management skills. The Executive Assistant will ensure delivery of a high quality customer service throughout the department, as well as provide specialist advice and management on the deliverables.
**Duties**:
High level verbal and written communication skills.
High level liaison and interpersonal skills, particularly relating to reception and welcoming, and dealing with difficult or emotional situations.
Assisting in Regional Project management and project documentation
Initiating, preparing and coordinating agenda papers for, and minutes of meetings of the Executive level committees
Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
High level knowledge and understanding of the policies, procedures and operational activities of the Hospitals.
A high degree of self-direction, initiative and commitment to excellence.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Monitor the service delivery model of the functions to provide a consistent and high quality service with a focus on a high level customer service.
Review and monitor systems and processes to ensure services and reports provided are efficient and effective.
Give advice to management or other relevant parties as appropriate, on matters relating to the Regional office executives.
Understanding and commitment to the principles and practices of:
1. risk management in accordance with Calvary Health Care Integrated Risk Management Strategy,
2. clinical governance, and safety,
3. safe and high quality customer service,
4. workplace equity, and
A demonstrated understanding of the philosophy of the Little Company of Mary Health Care. This includes a willingness to participate positively in workplace activities designed to foster the philosophy.
A demonstrated understanding of the organisation’s expectations (see ‘Standards of Behaviour’) and a willingness to always behave in accordance with those expectations. This will include being held accountable for own Standard of Behaviour at all times, and assisting colleagues to understand and abide by the Standards of Behaviour.
