Receptionist required in a group of physiotherapy practices located in Liverpool, Moorebank and Green Valley.
Experience is preferred, though not essential.
Position is Part-time, up to 30 hours per week, over two to three days.
Preference would be given to applicants who have some flexibility to work extra weekdays from time to time, especially to cover leave and staff absences
Will include some late finishes (7.00 pm), and possible Saturday work (mornings only).
Fully paid training and supervision initially, but working as sole receptionist to 2-3 physiotherapists once in the role.
**Applicants should be up to date with** Covid-19 coronavirus vaccinations, including booster shots, and must be prepared to update vaccine coverage in line with NSW Health advice, or as directed by their employer.
A physiotherapist's receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, referring healthcare providers, insurers, and others who deal with the practices.Very good personal presentation, face-to-face communication, telephone communication, and the ability to calmly deal with several matters simultaneously, are essential for this role. It is optional that past experience is in physiotherapy practices. Medical, dental, and other healthcare reception work would be appropriate. Reception experience in other businesses would also be an advantage. The successful applicant would be expected to work a flexible roster, including late finishes (approx. 6.30 pm), Saturday mornings, and covering extra hours when other staff are on leave. Working at different locations within the group may be required, so independent transport is essential.

**Skills**:
- handling cash and managing banking
- clear spoken English
- patience in dealing with all types of individuals
- knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
- reasonable typing speed and accuracy
- ability to learn practice management software specific to the physiotherapy profession
