**About the team**:

Bridging the gap between our suppliers, distribution centres and stores, our Supply Chain team works with thousands of trusted businesses every day. We work hard to make life easier, safer, and more sustainable across our network, as well as maintain the availability and quality of our products for our customers.
**About the role**:
In this permanent role you will report into the Supply Chain Manager - Pantry, your key focus will be to work with a group of high-profile suppliers to ensure strong in-store availability within this fast-paced category This role is also charged with driving end to end optimisation of supply chain for the category by identifying and delivering efficiencies and cost reduction.
As a Supply Planner, you will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions to solve supply network operational issues across distribution and transport.
You’ll also:
- Partner with internal logistics teams to deliver supply performance KPIs and prepare contingency plans in the event of unknown supply delays.
- Manage and be accountable for a growing business function with significant spend, delivering aggressive targeted reductions year on year.
- Influence and work cross functionally with distribution centres, transport providers and supply chain operations to help improve service levels.
- Proactively seek and identify opportunities to improve the end-to-end supply chain and manage the implementation of initiatives.

**About you and your skills**:
You will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions to solve supply network operational issues across distribution and transport. This is an exciting opportunity with the ability to have genuine impact in the work you will do. You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience in a Supply Planning role, with developed planning and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, where process optimisation is a focus
- Advanced problem-solving capability, with the ability to question process and come up with ideas to mitigate supply risks
- Experience in managing supply chain network models and system levers to achieve supply metrics
- A high proficiency for communication, catering for a variety of stakeholder levels including overseas vendors and internal stakeholders
