You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of electronic instruments and systems used in various industries including power generation plants, data centre testing and medical gas monitoring systems.

**About the Role**

You will be:

- Installing, configuring, and setting up electronic instruments and systems based on specifications and technical documentation.
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues before they become critical.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic instrument malfunctions, identifying faulty components and systems.
- Repairing or replacing defective components using specialised tools and techniques, ensuring mínimal downtime.
- Calibrating electronic instruments according to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conducting testing to verify the accuracy and reliability of measurements and readings.
- Maintaining accurate records and keeping detailed reports on the status of instruments, highlighting any issues, repairs, or adjustments made.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electronic instruments and related equipment.

**About You**

The role requires a qualified tradesperson with a minimum of 15 years' experience in management roles, preferably with a background in business administration or prior senior responsibilities to assist with recruiting and training new staff. Ideally you will bring a broad range of expertise and competence, with the following attributes:

- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electronic faults.
- Familiarity with testing and measuring equipment.
- Basic CAD drawing skills.
- Familiarity with facilities management.
- Some understanding of electrical work and high voltage systems.
- Basic plumbing competencies for gas pipeline maintenance.
- Knowledge of submersible and above-ground pumps.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and report on work progress.

**Salary**: $120,000.00 - $167,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
