Seeking a Portfolio Risk Specialist to join the Delivery Capability Department within the IT Digital Division, of this Government Owned Corporation, for an initial 6-month contract.

The Department is responsible for governance and assurance across the IT digital portfolio as well as the development, maintenance and adherence to the delivery framework and its processes and standards.

**Requirements**:
**There is a requirement to engage a Risk Specialist who will**:
Coordinate and facilitate project risk workshops and ensure resultant risks are appropriately triaged and documented;
Track and monitor effectiveness of risk controls and response actions and ensure the quality of the project risk data in the registers;
Employ analytical methods to develop meaningful reports and confidently present findings to key stakeholders that will enable them to make informed decisions;
Liaise with the Digital Risk Manager to support the escalation of risks via the Digital Operations Meeting, to the organisations Digital Risk Tool;
Onboard and coach new project / delivery / platform managers in the organisations Digital risk management frameworks [in conjunction with the Digital Risk Manager]; and

Promote risk management culture within each of the project teams and portfolio operations team.

The position of IT Digital Portfolio Risk Specialist will report to the Manager - Delivery Capability.

Selection Criteria

Selection of the successful bid will be based on the following criteria:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Risk Management Standard ISO 31000;
Demonstrated ability to identify training needs for risk management and oversee the risk competence and awareness across the project teams;
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of quantitative analysis, statistical models and valuation tools and techniques;
Demonstrated experience in communicating ideas via reports and presentations and making recommendations for improvements based on findings;
Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of risk workshops;
Demonstrated agile mindset and agile delivery experience;
Experience working within a Government Owned Corporation (GOC); and

Background in portfolio risk management would be an advantage.
