Our client, a bulk fuel storage terminal, is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their Operations and Maintenance team at their Botany based facility. As the focal point for maintenance and reliability management, you will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that the site runs efficiently and safely.

Your role will involve:

- Review, upkeep, and implementation of the terminal maintenance system in accordance with the maintenance management system
- Creating maintenance plans and overseeing implementation and optimisation of the approved yearly program
- Coordinating with contractors, procurement, SHECQ, and other stakeholders to plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance
- Leading root cause analysis and other investigations to avoid reoccurrence
- Monitoring the life cycle of terminal critical assets to plan replacement and refurbishment
- Initiating and upkeeping of risk-based inspection and risk-based maintenance framework for terminal assets
- Acting as a key technical focal point across terminals to provide technical advice and facilitate fit for purpose design of capex/growth projects
- Reporting to the Terminal Manager, you will lead a team of maintenance and reliability professionals and work with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Experience leading critical investigations and root cause analysis
- Experience in developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies for critical assets
- Knowledge of risk-based inspection methodology and reliability management practices
- Experience in coordinating with contractors, procurement, SHECQ, and other stakeholders to plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance
- Experience leading vendor pre-qualification process and in raising annual POs
- Experience in monitoring resource utilisation for preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure cost control
