**About the Role**

As the Manager of Infrastructure, Assets and Maintenance you will provide strategic leadership and foster a high-performing work-place culture to deliver exceptional outcomes for the community. With a focus on excellent customer service and innovation, this role will enable the delivery of high quality, well maintained infrastructure assets and services aligned to Council’s strategic goals.

**About You**

Your leadership will be instrumental in inspiring and motivating team members, fostering a positive work-place culture, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our community. With expertise in civil infrastructure related strategic and innovative thinking, along with a strong commitment to leading change, you will support your teams to pursue leading practices and great community outcomes. Your success in this role will be underpinned by your significant senior leadership experience in a large, complex and diverse workplace.

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Deep knowledge of disciplines relating to civil assets (roads, drainage, footpath, pavements, pump stations) design and maintenance
- High level skills and understanding of strategic asset management
- Be an authentic leader who builds constructive relationships with people at all levels across the organisation
- A strong customer focused ethos with a passion for delivering excellent community outcomes
- Possess exceptional problem solving, innovative thinking and decision making skills
- A commitment to personal development and improvement
- A proven ability to develop and empower leaders within the portfolio to assist them reach their full potential
- High level expertise in managing program budgets

**Qualifications**

Appropriate tertiary education in a Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline, or significant equivalent experience in a field related to this position.

**Experience**
- Senior leadership experience in a similar position in a complex organisation is essential
- Experience in leading the development and delivery of civil infrastructure and assets related strategic priorities, projects and programs which have significant organisational and community impacts
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proven experience leading and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team enabling innovation and business value creation
- Demonstrated experience in executing strategy through operational plans.
