Sydney, Australia My NRMA Full time

**Company Description**
We’re one of Australia’s most trusted brands. Being member-owned, every decision we make has people and our community at its heart. From our legendary Roadside assistance to electric vehicle charging networks, holiday parks and lodges, car rentals, and harbour transport and ocean cruising we are striving to make a difference that contributes to a brighter shared future for all Australians.

Forget what you thought you knew about the NRMA - take a look on the inside and you’ll discover that life with us is more than just a job - it’s your chance to make a difference together.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Learning & Development Trainer where you will use your Mechanical and/or Electrical qualifications to help to design, develop and deliver training for front line employees (e.g. patrols, tow truck drivers) and managers within the NRMA business, primarily focused on supporting Roadside Delivery.

In particular, you will create learner experiences that give our team members the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional customer service and experiences for our members. Working closely as part of a Learning & Capability team and with key business stakeholders, you’ll conduct needs analysis, create and deliver training programs and initiatives across multiple modalities that align to business objectives and to the values of our NRMA Playbook.

The role is based from our Sydney Olympic Park office and will involve travel to all our sites and to areas in which we have a contractor presence. When not travelling, we offer hybrid work arrangements with the flexibility to work from home as agreed and required for the role.

**What You'll Do**
- Designing creative, effective and engaging learning materials and programs using a variety of platforms and tools
- Leveraging a blended learning approach that includes e-learning, virtual sessions, self-directed learning as well as face to face workshops, sessions and modules
- Facilitating and delivering training with consistency and quality - this will require travel for face to face training across a portfolio of sites and will also include virtual training
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify core skill gap, key learner priorities and embed learning initiatives

**What You'll Bring**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or similar
- Qualified Mechanic or Automotive Electrician
- Holding a current Class C drivers' licence is essential
- Up to date on current and future trends in automotive technology and design
- Excellent facilitation skills, both online and face to face, to frontline teams
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a background in the automotive industry
- Strong instructional design skills across a variety of platforms, video and tools including Articulate, Canva, Ed-App and Vyond
- An ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Curiosity - always looking for ways to improve to meet future needs
- The drive to take ownership and accountability for your portfolio/projects
- A passion for learning - seeking to continually develop your own knowledge and skills

**What's in it for you?**

At the NRMA we aren’t just about discounts (although you do get these). We know everyone leads unique lives, and it’s about those things that add up to make life both at work and outside of work just right for you.
- Progressive flexibility and well-being benefits to balance all of life's priorities
