**About us**:
We are Xero Bookkeeping Business servicing various clients in various industries, Australia-wide. We’re growing & need another experienced, talented Xero Certified Experienced Bookkeeper to join us. **We'd require you to be onsite weekly on a Tuesday initially for handover (up to 4-6 weeks), with the view to completing any additional days and hours remotely.**
You will be solely responsible for assisting with accounts processing/Xero, inbox management and BAS Preparation for a range of clients, initially up to 15-20 hours/week, increasing over time. **Flexible hours to suit those with family responsibilities - work within school hours.**
**About you**:
We don’t expect you to know everything, **but you MUST know Xero** _(minimum 2 years of experience) _be Xero Certified & have or be undertaking Certificate IV in Bookkeeping. **Whilst the role is flexible, there are deadlines to meet.** You must be deadline-driven, with great communication and organisational skills.
**This is NOT a trainee position - you need to hit the ground running**, work across multiple clients with ease & identify & resolve issues when they arise. We have systems & will expect you to follow our ways.
You have Xero bookkeeping experience in a small firm & several years’ experience. You’ll know payroll, super, STP, understand GST/GST Free/BAS Excluded; how to reconcile clearing accounts & to Balance Sheet. Accounts payable and receivable. You’re a Xero whiz, fast learner, but most of all enthusiastic and willing to learn. No job is too big or too small You can easily & effectively switch between client files. You have a keen interest in systems & procedures & the opportunity to make ours even better. (We value staff input and suggestions for improvement).
