**Job Title**: Art Teacher (Weekdays position)

**Location**: Winky Studio, Donaster East, Victoria, Melbourne

**Job Type**: Contract

**Compensation**: $30/hour during 10-week probation; $35/hour post-probation

**Hours**: Weekdays afternoon 4:15pm - 5:45 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (minimum 1 weekday available)

**Start Date**: October

**Must**: Be able to commit minium one year during school term, be fluent in English, skilled in Japanese Anime style drawing and Procreate, Human anatomy skill

At Winky Studio, we are passionate about unlocking creativity and imagination in our students through art. We specialize in teaching drawing techniques focusing on cartoon and anime styles. Our classes cater to small groups of 6, ensuring personalized attention and a nurturing learning environment.

**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Art Teacher to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about art education and skilled in drawing, particularly cartoons. You will play a crucial role in inspiring and teaching students of various ages, guiding them through fun and comprehensive step-by-step drawing methods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct art classes for groups of 1-6 students, focusing on drawing techniques in cartoon and anime styles.
- Prepare lesson plans and provide step-by-step drawing instructions.
- Foster a creative and supportive environment for students to develop their artistic skills.
- Assess and encourage student progress through constructive feedback.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong drawing skills, particularly in cartoons and familiarity with digital drawing tools like Procreate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to commit to the role for at least one year.
- Prior teaching experience is beneficial but not required, as training and guidelines will be provided.
