Exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join a Hobart CBD located team
**Your new role**
This position will report to the Acting General Manager People and Culture and work closely with project team members, Program Managers, Disability Support Workers, and the People and Culture Team. The anticipated duration of this project will be approximately 4-6 months as a minimum.
The core elements of this project include, but are not limited to: developing an EA interpretation guide to inform roster rules, and updating policies, guidelines and templates which support EA operationalisation. Review employee rosters and contracts to ensure compliance and rectify where issues are identified through a planned roster change program. Lastly, lead and coordinate the roster change management program, partnering with relevant stakeholders and coordinating the program end to end including the administration of contracts and employment variations. Due to the above points, the organisation requires a HR/IR expert to successfully work in this role.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven generalist HR and also IR experience.
- Current knowledge and understanding of HR legislation and relevant awards.
- Excellent communication skills and a high-level attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience in the field and to be able to provide examples of your skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, effective stakeholder management skills and a strong customer focus are also important in order to be considered.
The position sits within a NFP organisation and therefore requires a current Working With Vulnerable Peoples check.
