Job description:
The Role
Full time and part time permanent role available, ideally suited to a proven medical administrator, with excellent customer service experience, and strong people skills. In a complex human services organisation, ideally in health is preferred.
You will also possess excellent time management, be organised, and efficient, and have outstanding written and verbal communication expertise. You will be empathetic, and compassionate towards the patients and the admin team, provide the highest level of care and understanding in all aspects of your role and focus on building relationships between various stakeholders of the business whilst being agile.
The opportunity is Part Time 3 days in our Wollongong suites, with the possibility to go Full Time and travel to our Gregory Hills HQ for 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand all administration operations with day-to-day bookings and transactions.
- Cross skill in all administrative duties to assist where required in situations of sickness or illness with other team members.
- Focus on administrative growth and development with key strategies implemented from management.
- Assist with business growth of increased patient numbers via direct contact with new patient prospects and relative businesses. Understanding the services and moulding this to the patients or businesses perspective is key.
- Report finalisation and invoicing on a daily basis
- WorkCover process of new approval requests, invoicing, accounts management
- WorkCover database management for retention and trends
- Feedback process from current active WorkCover patients
- Liaison with WorkCover case managers and related parties
- Utilise and adhere to operational procedures and achieve consistent business practice.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be able to work autonomously
- Assist in project preparation and outreach to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated resilience and sound communication skills (preferred).
- Ability to problem solve and use initiative, work autonomously, communicate and work cooperatively with other members of a multidisciplinary team.
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset with a vision for growth within yourself and the company.
- Good communication skills in relation to other staff, clients and visitors.
- Be malleable within the work environment and be susceptible to rapid business changes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to develop great rapport with clients and stakeholders with continuous improvement and open communication.
- Be an advocate of our culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Part time hours are: Wednesday 12pm to 5pm, Thursday and Friday 8am to 6pm
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
**Salary**: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
