**Client**:
Our client is a central policy agency responsible for providing coordinated strategy and policy leadership for various functions including national and transport security, federal law enforcement, criminal justice, cyber security, border, immigration, multicultural affairs, emergency management, and trade.

**Role**:
They are seeking experienced **Project Coordinators** to support a division responsible for managing the transition of major ICT sourcing programs into business-as-usual operations while ensuring mínimal disruption and risk.

This would be a contracting position based in **Canberra** for an initial contract until **30**th** June 2024, with 2 x 12-month** extensions.

Project Coordinators will work to deliver efficient project services for the Department. They will contribute to reporting requirements at the Section, Branch, and Division levels. The Project Coordinators will coordinate project schedules, manage project budgets, handle project-related issues and risks, and ensure the smooth delivery of planned activities within project management frameworks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively monitor agreed project deliverables and maintain project artifacts such as RACI, Risks and Issues registers.
- Create, update, and maintain project governance artifacts.
- Assist with project deliverable milestone reporting in Department systems.
- Provide a summary of planned activities for the week, including risks and issues.
- Track the development of technical and business artifacts being delivered.
- Ensure project work plans are up to date and accurately reflect work being undertaken by staff.
- Contribute to project budget planning.
- Assess deliverables and work with delivery teams to provide estimates of effort.
- Track the progress of work packages and escalate as required.
- Coordinate the preparation of work packages with delivery teams.
- Schedule meetings with agendas and ensure minutes are taken, updated, and action items are tracked.
- Ensure the attendance of technical staff and key stakeholders at planned meetings.
- 3+ years of experience in major ICT or other project/program management.
- Working knowledge of technology project delivery in an environment similar in size and scale to the Department.
- Proven expertise in successfully supporting complex ICT programs.
